Topical Sealers
A topical sealer is a protective coating which leaves a visible, color enhancing barrier on the surface of the stone. Topical sealers penetrate to protect below the surface, but they also provide a tough, durable, barrier across the surface of the stone. Topical sealers are the most effective sealers for stain protection.
Topical sealers are especially effective in high traffic areas, outdoor spaces, and on porous surfaces which can stain easily. They serve as a sacrificial layer, protecting the stone while making maintenance easier.
Topical sealers can be used on nearly any type of natural stone surface, except when the stone is polished or glazed, as a topical sealer generally will not bond and have trouble penetrating. Smooth surfaces may become slippery when wet if a topical sealer is overapplied.
TERATONE 467
TERATONE 467 is a color enhancing, deep penetrating, solvent based acrylic sealer. TERATONE will enhance the natural colors of stone, while forming a durable, stain resistant barrier across the surface. TERATONE 467 is very effective outdoors, protecting surfaces from UV rays and weathering.
Surfaces treated with TERATONE will have their colors enhanced with a satin finish. TERATONE is very effective in refreshing the appearance of old and faded stone surfaces. TERATONE dries slower than the average sealer, allowing it to penetrate deeply and effectively before setting.
TERATONE is very effective at sealing and protecting dense or smooth surfaces such as quarry tile, unglazed ceramic tile, slate, unfinished marble, terrazzo, travertine, smooth cement, and all other cementitious materials. For interior or exterior use.
SEALER 444
SEALER 444 is a water based acrylic sealer which forms a tough, durable, slip resistant coating. SEALER 444 will prevent spills, dirt, and moisture from getting into the stone. SEALER 444 inhibits fading or discoloration while protecting from UV rays. SEALER 444 releases no toxic fumes and is safe and easy to use when being applied in enclosed areas.
SEALER 444 will generally provide mild color enhancement, with a glossy finish. The level of gloss will depend on how porous the stone is, and the number of coats applied.
SEALER 444 excels on Mexican Saltillo tile and is also very effective on Spanish or Brazilian tile, wire cut brick pavers, travertine, terrazzo, rough stone, marble pavers, and exposed aggregates.
AGG 888
AGG Sealer 888 is a heavy duty, high solids, solvent based acrylic sealer. AGG 888 enhances the natural colors of stone, while producing a durable, stain resistant barrier. AGG 888 is specially formulated to efficiently seal rough or porous surfaces such as Mexican Saltillo, deep wire-cut brick pavers, exposed aggregate, brick pavers, concrete pavers, or any other rough or porous cementitious tiles or materials.
Surfaces treated with AGG 888 with have an enhanced look with a glossy finish. AGG 888 will help stone surfaces resist fading or discoloring from UV rays and will maintain gloss for long periods of time when applied to exterior surfaces. The level of gloss will increase as additional coats are added. For interior or exterior use.
ULTIMATE 466
ULTIMATE 466 is a color enhancing, high gloss, solvent based acrylic sealer. Designed for use on smooth or semi smooth floor surfaces such as quarry tile, unglazed ceramic tile, terrazzo, travertine, smooth concrete, or any other fairly smooth cementitious surface. Also excels on brick, concrete pavers, exposed aggregate, and vertical stone surfaces.
ULTIMATE 466 will resist fading or discoloring and maintain a glossy and wet look for long periods of time when used outdoors. Use when a high gloss or wet look is desired. For interior or exterior use.
SLATE & QUARRY No. 468
SLATE & QUARRY TILE DRESSING is a solvent based, high gloss, acrylic sealer designed for slate or quarry tile. Formulated to prevent moisture and dirt from penetrating the surface, Slate & Quarry Tile Dressing dries to a tough, durable protective barrier. Designed to resist fading or discoloration and will maintain a wet look for long periods of time when exposed to the elements. Use when a high gloss or wet look is desired.
