SEALER 329: Natural Finish Penetrating Sealer
Sealer 329 is a heavy-duty, water-based impregnating sealer which protects stone, tile, and grout from stains, water damage, and corrosion. Sealer 329 penetrates deeply and effectively, chemically reacting with the stone to form a durable, transparent barrier. Sealer 329 will block water and oil molecules from penetrating the surface but will allow water vapor to breathe out of the stone. Sealer 329 can be used before grouting to serve as a grout release. Sealer 329 is a water based, environmentally friendly formulation with a low VOC composition. Surfaces treated with Sealer 329 retain their natural appearance with no visible film. For interior or exterior use.
For use on Brick, Brick Pavers, Unglazed Ceramic Tile, Clay Tiles, European Clay Pavers, Concrete, Concrete Pavers, Grout Joints, Saltillo Tiles, Travertine, Marble, Granite, Terrazzo, Shell Stone, Limestone, or any stone surface when a natural look is desired. SURFACE PREPARATION:
Always be sure the surface is clean, dry, and free from any dirt, grease, oil, wax, or other contaminants. Read the entire label before using. Use only as directed. Always test on a small piece of material or a small inconspicuous area to determine suitability. Ensure the area is well ventilated. Ideal surface temperature should be between 60°F and 80°F. Product works best when it is the first substance applied to the surface, insuring proper penetration.
COVERAGE:
For very porous surfaces: 1st coat: 100-200 sq. ft./gallon. 2nd coat 250-400 sq. ft./gallon.
For average density surfaces: 1st coat: 200-300 sq. ft./gallon. 2nd coat 400-500 sq. ft./gallon.
For very dense surfaces: 1000 sq. ft./gallon.
APPLICATION:
SEALER 329 is a very easy product to use. Because it does not alter the appearance of a stone’s surface, there is no risk of an uneven finish. After application, if you see an area where moisture is still absorbing into the stone, you can re-apply more sealer to those areas. High traffic areas can be spot treated as necessary.
FOR TILE, PAVER, OR BRICK : SEALER 329 may be applied with spray applicator, brush, roller, or lint free rag. Apply liberally with a heavy first coat. Avoid puddles by spreading excess. Second coat can be applied 15 minutes after the first coat. Product cures in 24 hours.
FOR COUNTERTOPS: SEALER 329 may be applied with brush, roller, or lint free rag. Spread across surface liberally. Whatever hasn’t soaked into the countertop after 15 minutes should be wiped up. SEALER 329 cures completely in 24 hours
FOR SEALING GROUT JOINTS: Apply to joint with small brush or squeeze bottle. Allow to soak 10-15 mins. Wipe off excess from tile surface. Do not leave voids and puddles. SEALER 329 cures completely in 24 hours. High traffic areas can easily be spot treated when required because SEALER 329 does not build up or alter the appearance of the surface.
STORAGE AND HANDLING
CAUTION: Do not handle until all safety precautions have been read and understood. Handling: Do not get in eyes, on skin, or on clothing. Keep container closed and tightly sealed when not in use. Conditions for safe storage: Keep in tightly closed, properly labeled containers.
