Oil & Water - Repellent and Protector
PLUS is a heavy-duty impregnating sealer that produces a transparent barrier, repelling water and oils. It chemically reacts with the stone, forming a durable, long lasting, protective membrane throughout the stone and across its surface. PLUS internally seals the substrate, allowing water vapor to breathe out of the stone while preventing moisture from penetrating the surface.
PLUS penetrates immediately, deeply, and effectively, providing a long-lasting protective barrier. Surfaces treated with PLUS will retain a natural appearance with no shine or gloss. PLUS is extremely effective in areas frequently exposed to water and oils, such as kitchens, bathrooms, driveways, pools, and outdoor grill areas. PLUS also inhibits staining from food, drinks, wine, coffee, and other common spills, making maintenance easier.
PLUS is non film forming, and leaves surfaces with a natural appearance.
FOR USE ON: Granite, Marble, Flagstone, Shell Stone, Travertine, Limestone, Quarry Tile, Slate, Keystone, Brick, Brick Pavers, Concrete Pavers, Unglazed Ceramic Tile, Clay Tiles, European Clay Pavers, Concrete, Grout Joints, Saltillo Tiles, and any stone surface where a natural look and oil repellency is desired.

SURFACES WHERE PLUS EXCELS:
Surfaces Exposed to Oils: PLUS is oleophobic, meaning it resists the absorption of oils. Countertops, Grill Areas, Driveways, Kitchen Floors, Backsplash, and Showers are all areas which are exposed to oils on a regular basis.
Surfaces That Get Wet Frequently: PLUS is a non film forming water repellant. This allows water vapor to breath out of the stone from below, while repelling water molecules from the surface. Pool decks, tiled showers, bathrooms, grout, countertops, and any natural stone outdoor application, which is frequently exposed to water and moisture, is an ideal area for PLUS. impregnating sealer.
Polished or Dense Surfaces: On very dense and polished surfaces where bonding can be an issue, impregnating sealers will perform best. Polished granite and marble are ideal areas to use impregnating sealers.
SURFACE PREPARATION:
Always be sure the surface is clean, dry, and free from any dirt, grease, oil, wax, or other contaminants. Read the entire label before using. Use only as directed. Always test on a small piece of material or a small inconspicuous area to determine suitability. Ensure the area is well ventilated. Ideal surface temperature should be between 60°F and 80°F. Product works best when it is the first substance applied to the surface, insuring proper penetration.
COVERAGE:
For very porous surfaces: 1st coat: 100-200 sq. ft./gallon. 2nd coat 250-400 sq. ft./gallon.
For average density surfaces: 1st coat: 200-300 sq. ft./gallon. 2nd coat 400-500 sq. ft./gallon.
For very dense surfaces: 1000 sq. ft./gallon.
APPLICATION:
PLUS is a very easy product to use. Because it does not alter the appearance of a stone’s surface, there is no risk of an uneven finish. After application, if you see an area where moisture is still absorbing into the stone, you can re-apply more sealer to those areas. High traffic areas can be spot treated as necessary.
FOR TILE, PAVER, OR BRICK : PLUS may be applied by roller, brush, sprayer, or another suitable applicator. Be sure the surface is clean, dry, and free from any dirt, grease, oil, or wax. Apply sealer liberally, thoroughly wetting the entire surface area. Allow 30 minutes to dry and apply a second coat. Any sealer not absorbed completely after 20 minutes should be wiped off with a clean rag and allowed to dry. Product cures completely in 24-48 hours. If PLUS is used before grouting, it will function as a grout release, making grout cleanup easier.
FOR COUNTERTOPS: PLUS may be applied with brush, roller, or lint free rag. Spread across surface liberally. Whatever hasn’t soaked into the countertop after 15 minutes should be wiped up. PLUS cures completely in 24 hours
FOR SEALING GROUT JOINTS: Apply to joint with small brush or squeeze bottle. Allow to soak 10-15 mins. Wipe off excess from tile surface. Do not leave voids and puddles. PLUS cures completely in 24 hours.
STORAGE AND HANDLING
CAUTION: Highly flammable & combustible liquid and vapor. Do not handle until all safety precautions have been read and understood. Handling: Do not get in eyes, on skin, or on clothing. Do not breathe vapors or mists. Keep container closed and tightly sealed when not in use. Keep away from sources of ignition - No smoking. Take measures to prevent the buildup of electrostatic charge. Conditions for safe storage: Keep in tightly closed, properly labeled containers. Keep in a cool, well-ventilated place. Materials to avoid: Do not store with the following product types: Strong oxidizing agents, Explosives, Gases.
